Remote Software Engineer - Lahore, Pakistan

I am an experienced Full Stack software engineer with in-depth skills in frontend technologies and frameworks (ReactJS, NextJS, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript and HTML/ CSS) and also dabble in backend technologies (NodeJS and Java Springboot).

I have a keen interest in building responsive and scalable websites which follow the latest UI/UX standards (and the backend modules as well) to help organisations actualise their business needs.

I am working in Careem as a Full-stack Engineer (FE-focused). Careem is a mobility startup which has been acquired by Uber. I started this job when I was "acquihired" by Careem when they acquired Munch:ON, the previous company I worked at. I am part of the "Captain" Squad as a Frontend developer for the web team, that develops and maintains multiple dashboards and portals used internally as well as ride-hailing "captains" so their day-to-day business runs smoothly.

Previously, I worked in a startup called Munch:ON which was a food delivery service mainly operating in UAE and KSA region. I was part of the "Operations" Squad as a Frontend developer, that developed and maintained two operation-centric dashboards using NextJS and a business-facing restaurant panel (used by restaurants to manage orders flow) using ReactJS.

- Used React-Virtualized and React Table to create a fluid, responsive and lag free tabular data representation

- Developed a "Birds Eye View" mapping module to map out real-time activity of drivers using react-mapgl

- Improved code-base by refactoring and regularly reviewing PRs

- Shared on-call responsibility with my team

- Diligently worked to maintain a (nearly) bug-free system which was used to manage deliveries of 3000 orders per day
